The office

est. 2026

vissuale. is the independent design practice of Alejandro Trejo — one designer, New York.

The office does two kinds of work. It takes commissions — brand identity, landing pages, product UI and design systems for founders and small companies — and it builds its own ventures. AERTARIS, a compliance platform for large-load energy interconnection, and AERVANTE, a private concierge, are both designed and built here. The concept studies on the work page exist to show range; the ventures exist because the office ships real products, not just pictures of them.

That is the pitch, in practice: the person who designs your identity has also shipped the product behind it — the data model, the empty states, the checkout, the parts a brand deck never has to survive.

01How an engagement runs

Work starts the week you book it. Most engagements run one to three weeks: a short brief in writing, one direction presented — not three deniable options — then built and shipped. You talk to the person doing the work, and you see it while it is still moving. No account managers, no deck about the process, no queue.

02What the office believes

  • Typography and composition carry a brand further than decoration.
  • Shipped this week beats perfect this quarter.
  • One strong direction is a service; five weak ones are a tax.
  • The work should feel expensive without saying it — restraint reads as confidence.
  • Every deliverable should survive contact with the real product.

03Where

New York. Engagements run remotely, worldwide — most communication is written, and turnaround is measured in days, not meetings.
